NTPC is looking for experienced professionals as Deputy Managers in the area of Project Erection/Construction at E4 level.

Electronics with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/

Institution.

Post Name: Deputy Manager (Mechanical Erection)

Number of Posts: 50Posts

Qualification: B.E/B. Tech Degree in Mechanical/Production with at

least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Post Name: Deputy Manager (C&I Erection)

Number of Posts: 10 Posts

Qualification: B.E/B. Tech Degree in Electronics/Control &

Instrumentation / Instrumentation with at least 60% marks from a

recognized University/Institution.

Post Name: Deputy Manager(Civil Construction)

Number of Posts: 30 Posts

Qualification: B.E/B. Tech Degree in Civil/Construction with at least

60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Profile for all the Posts:

Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training/ trainee period, if any) in respective areas of the Power Sector, out of which a minimum 5 years of executive experience in the erection & commissioning of systems related to Mechanical/Electrical/C&I/Civil.

Experience Requirement for all posts:

Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience (including training/trainee period, if any) in the executive cadre in a Govt./Public Sector Undertaking or Private company of repute, out of which minimum 02 years’ experience in the post and scale of Rs. 60000 – 180000 or above (IDA pay scale of E3 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) or equivalent level/post prole. The candidate from the private sector should also submit form 16 of the previous employer of FY: 22-23 related to the income tax return.

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the Deputy Manager position, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• A full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/C&I) with a minimum 65% marks

• Post-qualification executive work experience of at least 3 years in large industrial organizations

• Age limit – 30 years

Candidates in the final year of BE/B.Tech can also apply, subject to meeting the above criteria at the time of joining.

Selection Process:

The selection will comprise two stages – preliminary screening followed by a final round.

• Preliminary screening will shortlist candidates based on eligibility

• Final selection will be through an interview

The interviews will assess technical knowledge, communication abilities, aptitude and overall suitability for the Deputy Manager role.
