Online applications are invited from the Indian citizens for filling up the following positions:
Junior Secretariat Assistant (General) : No. of posts: 03
Junior Secretarial Assistant (Store & Purchase): No. of posts:02 (UR)
Essential Qualification for above posts : 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from lime to time. (Dictation at the speed of 35 w.p.m. in English/ 30 w.p.m. in Hindi)
Junior Stenographer : No. of posts 04 (UR)
Essential Qualification : 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from lime to time. (Dictation at the speed of 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes in English/Hindi)
Mode of Selection For Junior Secretariat Assistant (General)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (Stores & Purchase)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (Finance &Accounts):
As per the CSIR Administrative Services Recruitment & Promotion (ASRP). Rules. 2020. recruitment to these posts shall be on the basis of open competitive written examination held from amongst candidates possessing minimum educational qualification of 10+2/XII or its
proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per the prescribed nor
DOPT from time to time. While the proficiency in computer typing speed and in using computer will only be qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination. The merit list will only comprise of those candidates who have qualified the proficiency test in computer typing.
Mode of Selection for Jr. stenographer:

Rules. 2 020. recruitment equivalent and to these posts shall be on the basis of open competitive written examination held from amongst candidates possessing minimum educational qualification of 10+2/XII or its proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by the DOPT from time to time. While the proficiency in stenography will only be qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination.
